From 1970 until his early death in 1977, Blinky Palermo created an extensive collection of print works. This includes the work "Amerikas Hommage an Picasso” (1974), which was printed using a blind stamp at Matthieu Litho in Switzerland. It can be seen in the 11-part portfolio "America's Homage à Picasso," Berlin 1974.
Palermo's approach to color is evident in its fleeting, open, almost translucent nature. His works show references to American abstract art with its typical clear surface design and intense color choice. Palermo was known for his strictly reduced works, which are nevertheless able to captivate the viewer's eye with ineffable clarity.
