"The process begins with printing a large amount of photographic material onto small sheets of paper. The printed sheets are mixed, focusing on composition and aesthetics. Whenever the viewer is drawn into the painting, he/she is pulled back to the concrete surface and presence of the painting itself. The paintings are created from a non-hierarchical perspective, which means that they have a wide thematic range in terms of the visual language chosen: details, enlargements or sections of everyday life, such as a tattoo with ignition, a car cast in wax, a circuit board from a hard drive, a graffiti's shadow on a window, etc." – Lasse Bruun
