The series ‘La Llum’ is the result of five years study of light. Miguel Adrover's photographs show glass orbs and other objects, which he uses to illuminate the concept of chasing light in darkness. They were taken in an 11.5-foot subterranean space, which is a 300-year-old well in which the light has a special dramatic effect.
The former fashion designer walked away from the fashion scene years ago and has been focused on his art since. He has created 600 series or different projects in the past six years. Adrover creates ephemeral worlds through the medium of photography, for which he mainly uses Balearic blown glass objects. His works, according to Adrover, are not gloomy, even if they seem unsettling at first sight. Rather, the artist searches for beauty in them.
