A JONAS LUND TOKEN (JLT) FUTURE is a forward contract that enables you to bet on the future value of Jonas Lund’s artworks and the Jonas Lund Token itself.

Each JLT FUTURE is intrinsically tied to a specific Jonas Lund artwork that will be created shortly before the contract expires. You’re making a bet on the prospective appreciation in value of both the artwork and the JLT from the time you acquire the JLT FUTURE until the contract expires.

On the expiry date of the Future Contract, your JLT FUTURE 'expires' into a physical Jonas Lund artwork. The artwork’s quality and value are then appraised by the JLT board. If the quality surpasses the standard criteria, you may be required to pay an additional amount, while lower-quality artworks may result in a discount on your contract.

It’s a unique way to invest in both art and the future, where your JLT represents not just a digital asset but a tangible masterpiece, all in sync with Jonas Lund’s artistic evolution.

Presented by Office Impart as part of REIMAGINE TOMORROW, 1954-2024. AI in Context #2, 17-24 November 2024, Heilig-Geist-Kirche, Essen, on the occasion of the AI Biennale in Essen, Germany.

OFFICE IMPART, founded in April 2018 by Johanna Neuschäffer and Anne Schwanz, is a gallery that extends the standard definition of a gallery. The world is changing, and so is the way in which art is presented and sold. To be part of this transformative process, the traditional model of the gallery needs to be expanded. This is precisely what we seek to achieve with OFFICE IMPART.

One of the key impacts of the digital age on the presentation of art is a new understanding of space as a multidimensional structure that can be linked in all directions. OFFICE IMPART embodies this understanding of space as a flexible, dynamic construct that connects with various partners and presents content that manifests itself in various formats and spaces, both digital and physical.
